Soho Roman

A fanciful 24-pixel bitmap design that combines both typographic and calligraphic traits. The capitals were based on written initials and the various serifs are modeled on pen strokes. These details, and the shapes of the curves and the relative thicknesses of thick to thin strokes, were all adjusted to harmonize within the pixel grid.

Polhemus Oldstyle

A 12-pixel bitmap design with oldstyle figures. Relatively compact capitals, more efficient copyfit than Helvetica.
